Welcome to Companion Conversations, a new monthly series for the most special members of the MDS Family.
Think of this as our space to stay connected, share stories and also flex a little (hey, we’ve all got to sometimes!).
Here, we’ll be giving you the complete low-down on what we’ve been getting up to each month.
As for all the exciting things that happened in June? Read on.
WORLD OF COLOUR
June saw us open more doors than just to those of our first flagship boutique in the heart of Sydney. We also became available IRL across multiple cities in Japan with United Arrows, one of the country’s biggest department stores. Translation? Our world of colour is getting bigger and better! And with travel restrictions in constant flux, we even began offering virtual appointments for everyone at our Sydney boutique (which you can still book here).
WE MADE DAD'S DAY
Taking place on June 20 for our Northern Hemisphere friends, we celebrated Father’s Day in full-force this year (don’t worry, Aussie friends, your turn is coming!). Kicking it off with a Limited Edition notebook in partnership with Moleskine, the special piece featured a gold foil embossed #MakeYourMark motif and was sent out to many deserving dads with our special Father’s Day gift sets.
We listened — no, really, we did a lot of listening — and we heard you wanted more from our tech collections. Phone Case? Check. AirPods Case? We got that. Laptop Case? Ding, ding, ding!
Dropping just days ago, our new Laptop Case embodies our world of colour, releasing in seven bold hues inspired by the rainbow. What does that mean for you? A heap of bragging rights:
1. You can create an entire collection of colour to make all of your friends and colleagues envious.
2. You can say goodbye to basic laptop sleeves forever.
3. You can actually protect your device without ever compromising on style.
Fun fact? We decided to skip the traditional horizontal design and gave our case a vertical silhouette, so it not only slides in and out of your bags easily, but also lets you charge your device while it’s snug and safe inside. Smart... we know. 🤓
